Merton Nutrition was founded in London by a small team of nutrition researchers and product developers with a shared frustration: too many food supplement brands were making promises they could not keep. Claims that bordered on the miraculous. Testimonials that seemed impossible. Ingredients buried in proprietary blends with no transparency.
We wanted to do something different. We spent three years researching botanical ingredients used in everyday wellness traditions across four continents - from green coffee plantations in East Africa to chromium-rich crops in South Asia - and asking a simple question: what actually has a legitimate, evidence-informed role in supporting everyday metabolism and energy?
Why we created Wellaray Coffee
The answer became Wellaray Coffee. Not a miracle. Not a shortcut. A thoughtfully formulated food supplement designed to slot into the one daily ritual most people already have - their morning cup - and to deliver a meaningful combination of plant extracts and EFSA-recognised micronutrients in a convenient, pleasant-tasting sachet.
We chose to include only ingredients with EFSA-authorised nutrient function claims (chromium, zinc, vitamin B6) or a well-established tradition in everyday wellness contexts (L-Carnitine, green coffee bean extract). We make no claims about specific outcomes, weight loss, or timescales - because no responsible food supplement brand should.
